Lowe’s Home for the Holidays Sweepstakes gives one eligible MyLowe’s Rewards member a choice: a $500,000 builder’s credit toward a new home, or a $300,000 cash buyout paid by check. This is an app-exclusive promotion sponsored by Lowe’s Home Centers, LLC.
Your entry checklist
How to enter the Lowe’s holiday sweepstakes
- Sign in to MyLowe’s Rewards. Use your Lowe’s personal account, or create a free account and enroll in the rewards program.
- Open the Lowe’s app. Find Home for the Holidays in the Member Events dashboard.
- Submit your initial entry. Follow Lowe’s instructions and complete all required information. Opening this guide or clicking a link does not submit an entry.
- Review the bonus-entry options. These become available after your initial app entry. Check the official rules before participating.
Who can enter?
The promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., who are at least 18 and the age of majority in their state, and enrolled in MyLowe’s Rewards. Employee, immediate-family and household exclusions apply. Lowe’s verifies eligibility; the official rules control.
The $500,000 builder credit vs. $300,000 cash option
Build with an approved builder
The $500,000 credit goes toward eligible new-home construction costs under an agreement with an approved Lowe’s builder. It does not pay for purchasing land. Builder availability matters: if Lowe’s cannot provide an approved builder for the desired location, the rules provide the $300,000 buyout instead.
The winner must contract with the builder by February 28, 2027. Costs above the credit and other expenses remain the winner’s responsibility; unused credit is forfeited.
Choose the cash buyout
The alternative is a $300,000 check. The winner selects one prize option when accepting the prize; the choice is final. The cash option replaces the builder credit.
The winner is responsible for applicable taxes and unspecified expenses. Review the full prize conditions before accepting an award.
Bonus entries: purchase and no-purchase options
After the initial app entry, an eligible purchase of at least $50 on one receipt, before taxes and after discounts, can earn one bonus entry. Purchase exclusions and rewards terms apply. The rules also provide a mail-in bonus-entry method without a purchase. Purchase and mail-in methods share a limit of one bonus entry per day.
Mail-in requests must be postmarked by December 15 and received by December 22, 2026. Use the exact instructions and mailing address in Section 3 of the official rules. The app also offers one additional share-with-a-friend bonus entry for the entire promotion after a successful share.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter, win or claim a prize. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

When does Lowe's Home for the Holidays Sweepstakes end?
The entry period runs from October 30, 2026 at 6 a.m. Eastern through December 15, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern.
Do I have to buy something to enter?
No. The initial app entry is free. After that entry, the rules offer a mail-in alternative to the eligible-purchase bonus entry. Follow the official rules for the address, required information and deadlines.
Do I enter here or in the Lowe's app?
Enter in the Lowe's app. Sign in to your MyLowe's Rewards account, open Member Events and follow the sweepstakes instructions. This ClearanceFinds page is an independent guide, not an entry form.
Is the prize a house or cash?
One winner chooses either a $500,000 credit toward a new home with an approved Lowe's builder or a $300,000 check. The builder credit excludes the purchase of land and is subject to builder availability and other restrictions.
When is the winner selected?
The rules schedule the random drawing for on or about January 4, 2027. The potential winner must complete verification; selection alone does not confirm a prize award.
